February Bake Sale
I want to thank everyone who participated and donated Baked Items to our first Bake Sale to make it a success.  I want to let everyone know that we made a grand total of $139.50 for our chapter.  I want everyone to be proud of all your hard work to make this project a huge success.  I to see more participation at our next Bake Sale.

Membership 50/50 Raffle
We had our very first Membership Raffle at our February 2nd General Membership meeting. We raised a total of $50.00. Our winner of the Membership Raffle was Brookfield Jaycee Brad Carrino, who won $25.00 and our chapter recieved $25.00 as well.

The way to win our Membership Raffle is to come to our General Membership Meetings and pay $2 to enter the raffle and be in the room when your number is called. If your number is called and you did not pay to be in the raffle you DO NOT win the raffle and the money earned that night will roll over to the next meeting and be added to the money raised at that meeting for the raffle.

Anyone can enter to win the Membership 50/50 Raffle. The only thing is that if a Brookfield Jaycee wins that member gets 50% of the raffle, if a visitor from another Jaycee Chapter or a visitor that may be concidering to join our chapter they will recieve 25% of the raffle and the other 25% goes toward next months raffle drawing.

So again CONGRATULATIONS to Brookfield's very own Brad Carrino for being our very first winner of our Membership 50/50 Raffle.

Help The Jaycees Raise Money!
Just a reminder to use your GoodSearch often & spread the word!!!

How many times do you use Google, or AOL search, or Yahoo search??  Wouldn't it be great if the Brookfield Jaycees could earn a penny each time you search the internet?  Well starting July 11, 2007 we can!

GoodSearch.com is a new search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it's powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results.

- That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations;
- That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;
- That government should be of laws rather than of men;
- That earth's great treasure lies in human personality;
- And that service to humanity is the best work of life.
